An investigation is underway into a car accident that left one person injured during the early morning hours of October 2nd. According to official reports, Jasper Spurlock was travelling in a Mazda pickup on US 181in the northbound lanes, when a Ford Pickup coming from the rear failed to control their speed and struck Spurlock’s truck.
As a result of the impact, both vehicles sustained significant damage. When first responders arrived on the scene, they found that Spurlock had sustained serious injuries to his head, and transported him to the hospital.
