How Did This Accident Occur?
If it’s true that there was street racing leading up to the crash, then that might explain everything that happened here. But even when someone does something that reckless, the story might not end there. Especially at this time of day, it’s important to consider if alcohol was a factor. A lot of people are going to and from bars early in the morning, and alcohol could explain someone making a reckless decision like street racing.
One of the reasons that’s particularly concerning is authorities sometimes get tunnel vision when someone makes a serious mistake leading to a crash. They may get so caught up charging that driver that they leave the victims and families to fend for themselves. After all, they need evidence telling their story if they’re going to get the help they need. If there aren’t investigators looking out for their needs, important evidence could slip through the cracks even if a reckless driver is held criminally responsible for their actions.
So, are steps being taken here to thoroughly address all of the factors surrounding this crash? Or, have authorities been rash and treated this like an open-and-shut situation?
