Commentary by Attorney Michael Grossman

The public rarely gets to see the full story following serious accidents, but a crash involving a motorcycle always sets off alarm bells for me. While I don’t know anything about this specific accident, I’ve seen many motorcyclists throughout my career unfairly blamed for accidents when authorities never even bothered to actually dig into the facts. There’s an all-too-common negative bias against riders which can lead to hasty conclusions rather than careful investigations. Hopefully authorities were more thorough here.
