Polk County, LA — November 4, 2024, Jarrad Pittman was injured following a bicycle accident at around 2:00 P.M. on US-146.
An investigation is underway into an accident that left a Lafayette man seriously injured on US-146 around 2:00 P.M. According to official reports, Pittman was riding his bicycle when he was struck from behind by a pickup truck. When first responders arrived on the scene they found Pittman with serious injuries and he was flown to a hospital.
This investigation remains open, and at this stage the authorities have not released any more information, including the injury status of Pittman and whether or not any charges or citations are expected to be filed.
