Harris County, TX — February 6, 2024, Jared Baker was injured in a motorcycle versus car accident at approximately 3:30 p.m. along B.S. 146.
According to authorities, Jared Baker was traveling on an eastbound motorcycle on B.S. 146 in the vicinity southwest of Lee Drive when the accident occurred.

Officials indicate that the motorcycle may have been traveling at high rates of speed and weaving in and out of traffic leading up to the crash. An eastbound pickup truck which had been traveling on the inside of the two eastbound lanes apparently made a lane change to the outside lane at the same time as the motorcycle. Following that, the motorcycle reportedly collided with the back right corner of the pickup truck.
Baker became separated from his vehicle during the course of the accident and apparently traveled approximately 350 feet before coming to a stop. He incurred suspected severe injuries as a result of the accident and was transported to a local medical facility by EMS in order to receive necessary treatment. No other injuries have been reported.
Additional details pertaining to this incident are not available at this point in time. The investigation is currently ongoing.
