Bryan, TX — October 23, 2025, James Cox was injured following a car accident which occurred at around 4:45 a.m. along Tabor Road.
According to officials, the accident happened just off the corner of Tabor Road/FM 974 and US Highway 190.
Investigators said that 53-year-old James Cox was in a Chevy Silverado going southeast on the road when the vehicle somehow crashed. Due to this, the vehicle crashed off-road. James Cox reportedly was seriously injured in the crash.
Officials did not release any additional details about the accident.

Whenever a single-vehicle accident occurs, I always wonder if authorities are being thorough and focusing on the facts or if they’re just jumping to conclusions. It would surprise folks how often drivers end up being blamed for things they couldn’t avoid just because a police department felt their crash wasn’t worth the time and effort. I’d certainly be glad to hear that authorities were more careful to put the evidence first, but it’s just not the sort of thing anyone should take for granted.
