Arlington, TX — December 8, 2025, James Bellah was injured as the result of a motorcycle accident at around 12:14 a.m. along Interstate 20.
According to initial details about the accident, it happened in the area of Bowman Springs Road.
Investigators said that 42-year-old James Bellah was on a Harley-Davidson motorcycle going along I-20. While driving, the motorcycle somehow crashed. James Bellah was seriously as a result of the accident, authorities said.

Most of the time when people call about single-vehicle accidents, their main concern is telling their side of the story fairly. They worry that because they’re the only vehicle involved in a crash, authorities aren’t going to hear them out. Unfortunately, that happens a lot.
Motorcyclists in particular get a bad rap. Investigators sometimes jump to conclusions rather than gathering evidence and letting the facts speak for themselves. This can lead to incomplete or even inaccurate investigations that need thorough independent investigations to set right.
To be clear, I can’t say what caused this accident, and there are all kinds of possibilities to consider. That said, people deserve to know all of those possibilities are being considered. They shouldn’t have to worry about whether or not authorities are just going to blame first and ask questions later (or never). If authorities here can show they’ve been thorough and focused on the facts, that would be good to hear. It’s just that experience taught me not to take that for granted.
