Harris County, TX — December 12, 2023, Jamar Alston was injured following an alleged hit-and-run accident at around 9:00 p.m. on College Avenue.
According to current statements from officials, the crash happened in the area of the College Avenue and Austin Street intersection.
Investigators say that 22-year-old Jamar Alston was in a Honda Accord going westbound on College Avenue. At Austin Street, it’s said that an eastbound Cadillac ran the light while making a left turn, causing the two vehicles to collide in the intersection.
Alson was taken from the scene with apparently moderate injuries. The other driver had no reported injuries. Details from county officials show there were charges filed against that driver for alleged failure to stop and render aid. No further information about the crash is available right now.
