Accident Report

Bexar County, TX — September 2, 2026, Jake Compton was killed in a motorcycle accident at about 1:40 a.m. on Campbellton Road south of San Antonio.

A preliminary accident report indicates that a 2007 Yamaha FJR1300 motorcycle was heading southeast when it crashed into a utility pole at the intersection with Mogford Road.

Rider Jacob-James “Jake” Loyd Compton, 30, died from injuries suffered in the crash, according to the report.

Authorities have not released any additional information about the Bexar County crash at this time.
