Commentary by Attorney Michael Grossman
Even if authorities have yet to locate the driver allegedly responsible for all of this, that doesn’t mean all hope is lost. Even months after a hit-and-run, new details can emerge. If authorities can keep putting out information to the public eye, someone is bound to connect the dots and come forward with helpful information. That way, authorities can both ensure there are consequences for the hit-and-run and whatever actually led to the accident itself. At the end of the day, those affected by a serious hit-and-run deserve to know there’s going to be accountability.
