Washington County, TX — January 22, 2024, Jacob Andrew Kristen was injured following a semi-truck accident at around 12:40 p.m. along Highway 36.
Authorities said in their statements that the crash took place near the intersection of Highway 36 and Jungle Lane.
According to officials, 41-year-old Jacob Andrew Kristen was in a Porsche SUV going southbound along the highway. Due to reasons unconfirmed right now, the vehicle lost control and careened across the center turn lane. The SUV entered northbound lanes and collided with an oncoming 18-wheeler. This sent the SUV overturning off-road.
As a result of the accident, Kristen sustained reportedly serious injuries. The truck driver was not hurt. At this time, there do not appear to be any additional details about the cause of the accident.
