Houston, TX — January 29, 2024, Isaias Niño was injured in a truck accident shortly after 11:00 a.m. along East Freeway.
According to reports, 70-year-old Isaias Niño was traveling in an eastbound Chevy Malibu in the far right lane of East Freeway, I.H. 10, in the vicinity west of Uvalde Road when the accident took place.
An International truck was allegedly at a stop partially in the right shoulder and partially in the lane of travel. Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, the front right of the Malibu collided with the back left of the truck.
Niño incurred suspected severe injuries as a result of the accident. He was transported to a local medical facility by emergency medical services in order to receive necessary treatment. No other injuries have been reported.
