Dallas, TX — December 9, 2023, Isaiah Puente was injured following a car accident at around 3:10 a.m. along the LBJ Freeway.
According to initial details about the crash released by authorities, the crash happened along eastbound lanes of I-635 near TI Boulevard.
Officials said that 23-year-old Isaiah Puente was in a Buick Regal going eastbound along the freeway. Puente was in a line of traffic that resulted from a previous crash. While there, police say a Dodge Ram failed to control speed and crashed into the vehicles, hitting Puente’s vehicle first and causing a chain reaction collision.
Due to the collision, Puente had injuries described as serious. It appears there were no other injuries resulting from the accident. Police said alcohol may have been a factor, but this has not been confirmed.
