How Did This Accident Occur?

I already go to great lengths on this site to talk about how single-vehicle accidents can involve unavoidable possible factors. That notion is even more important to consider with a truck like this, as it’s possibly a rental truck. Have authorities inspected the truck for maintenance issues? Did they pull maintenance records and vehicle history? If the truck is a rental, have they investigated the location that rented it out? Maybe nothing unusual happened here, but if there’s even a possibility someone was given a truck that was not in safe, working order, that needs to be called out immediately.

Did anyone witness what happened here? Did the news leave out anything important?
