San Antonio, TX — December 24, 2023, one person was injured in a hit-and-run car accident at approximately 3:25 a.m. along Roosevelt Avenue.

According to reports, a 33-year-old man was traveling in a southwest bound, grey Ford F-150 on VFW Boulevard approaching the Roosevelt Avenue intersection when the accident took place.

Officials indicate that a northbound, blue Ford F-150 on Roosevelt Avenue was traveling at allegedly high speeds and collided with the grey pickup truck in the intersection. A male and female purportedly left the blue pickup truck and fled the scene on foot. The driver of the blue Ford was apprehended a short time later.

The 33-year-old from the grey pickup truck was reportedly entrapped in the wreckage and had to be extracted by emergency personnel. He incurred suspected severe injuries as a result of the crash and was transported to a local medical facility by EMS for treatment. No other injuries have been reported.
