League City, TX — April 13, 2024, one person was injured in a hit-and-run car accident just after 4:00 a.m. along West Main Street.
According to authorities, the accident took place in the vicinity of the West Main Street and Bay Area Boulevard intersection.
The causal factors that led to the accident remain unclear. Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, a collision occurred between a Toyota and Ford pickup truck. A 16-year-old who had been in the pickup truck allegedly fled the scene on foot, though they were eventually located by authorities. A twenty-year-old man who had been a back seat passenger in the Toyota incurred suspected severe injuries as a result of the wreck. He was transported to a local medical facility in order to receive necessary treatment.
