How Did This Accident Occur?
Most people think that hit-and-run cases are next to impossible to solve. Contrary to popular belief, these types of cases come to a positive conclusion more often that you might think. Considering the time of night when this accident took place combined with the fact that the vehicle fled the scene, I can’t help but to wonder what state that driver had been in at the time of the accident. Once the investigators—whether the authorities or a third party—find the driver, they can parse whether or not driver distraction, fatigue, or even impairment played a role in the wreck. Hopefully they are being as openminded and thorough as they should be in order to ensure nothing important falls through the cracks.
