Houston, TX — November 23, 2025, one person was injured due to a car versus pedestrian accident at around 12:20 a.m. along Scott Street.
Investigators said that the collision happened at the intersection of Scott Street and Drew Street, between Elgin Street and the Gulf Freeway.
According to officials, a 30-year-old woman was on foot at the time along Scott Street. Authorities say that a blue Ford Focus struck the woman, then left the scene. The woman sustained serious injuries as a result.
It’s unclear at this time if authorities ever located the suspect vehicle.

If authorities haven’t located the driver involved here, it might help to release more information to the public. A lot of the time, someone is able to connect the dots for the police and help them identify someone of interest. Once that happens, steps can be taken both to see there’s accountability for that person leaving the scene and for whatever led that person to flee in the first place.
