March 22, 2026, a man was injured as the result of a hit-and-run accident that happened around 9:02 p.m. along Loop 820.
Investigators said that the accident happened along northbound lanes of the freeway near Brentwood Stair Road, just off the I-30 interchange.
Authorities said that a 22-year-old woman and a 23-year-old man were in a Volkswagen Passat going northbound on the freeway. Another vehicle was going the same direction when the two vehicles collided.
The man riding in the Passat was seriously injured. The other vehicle reportedly left the scene. Other details are unavailable at this time.
