It’s usually just a matter of time before authorities locate someone who flees an accident scene and leaves their vehicle behind. Hopefully authorities found the driver involved here and just didn’t release public statements.
If they’re still looking for the driver, though, it might help to keep the details in the public eye. A lot of the time, someone in the community can help connect the dots and get an identification. Once that happens, steps can be taken to ensure there’s finally some accountability for the accident.
