Hopefully authorities are continuing to work behind the scenes to look for the runaway driver, if they haven’t already caught them. One thing that can help in these situations is keeping the details in the public eye. A lot of the time when a runaway driver gets caught, it’s because someone in the community comes forward. A friend, neighbor, co-worker, mechanic, or even a family member might do the right thing if they see there is still pressure to track the driver down and see there’s accountability for the accident. Hopefully authorities continue taking steps to resolve this situation.
