Commentary by Attorney Michael Grossman
With any motorcycle accident, it’s important to know if authorities have been fair and thorough in their investigations. Too often, people jump to conclusions because they just assume all motorcyclists are reckless drivers. That obviously happens, but it’s important that the evidence has the final say—not people’s preconceived biases. So if authorities can show they put any kind of bias aside to focus on the facts, that’s good. In my experience, though, it’s best not to take that for granted.
