Hemil Zapata Solis Injured in Motorcycle Accident in Austin, TX

Austin, TX — May 14, 2024, Hemil Zapata Solis was injured as the result of a motorcycle accident at around 10:00 p.m. along FM 2222.

Authorities said that the accident happened in the area of the FM 2222 and Mesa Drive intersection in north Austin.

Investigators said that 26-year-old Hemil Zapata Solis was on a Yamaha motorcycle going westbound along FM 2222. The motorcycle somehow lost control, and the bike overturned. Hemil Zapata Solis reportedly was seriously injured.

With accidents like this, a questions comes to mind: Did authorities give the crash the attention it deserved? Unfortunately, authorities are sometimes quick to write off motorcyclists as reckless drivers before they’ve even looked at the evidence. This can lead to mistaken or incomplete reports which need independent investigations to correct. If authorities were careful to let the evidence speak for itself here, that would be good to hear. It’s just not something I’d take for granted without seeing the actual completed reports.
