How Did This Accident Occur?

What little news I cant find on this crash suggests the crash happened “on” the freeway. That’s incredibly concerning, since a head-on crash on a divided freeway often means someone was on the wrong side of the road. That in turn raises familiar red flags that this may have been someone who was unlawfully over-served alcohol by a local bar, which is a very involved and complex legal situation for the drivers involved and the potentially negligent alcohol provider.

Of course, that’s just what often happens with reports like these. It could be that a vehicle lost control and crossed the median. It could be that current news reports are inaccurate, and maybe new information will come to light as investigations continue. What’s important to keep in mind is that a lot of evidence is time-sensitive. It’s important victims and families know that investigators are preserving as much evidence as possible early on. Whether this all was a simple mistake, a series of reckless decisions, or just some unavoidable accident, the best path forward is with as much information as possible.
