Llano County, TX — November 26, 2023, one person was killed in a head-on car accident along Texas State Highway 71.
According to reports, a motor vehicle was traveling southbound on S.H. 71 when the accident occurred.
The vehicle was allegedly attempting to pass a vehicle which had also been traveling southbound in the lane ahead. However, they were unable to safely negotiate the maneuver, resulting in a head-on collision with an oncoming vehicle which had been traveling in the northbound lane of the highway. One person was reportedly killed as a result of the accident; it is not known if any others were injured.
The incident is under investigation by local authorities. The identities of the deceased and others involved in the accident have not been made public.
