Cameron County, TX — June 1, 2024, Harvey Anderson was injured following a motorcycle versus car accident at approximately 11:30 a.m. along State Highway 100.
According to authorities, 71-year-old Harvey Anderson was traveling on a Harley-Davidson motorcycle in the left-most of three westbound lanes of Queen Isabella Causeway, S.H. 100, approaching the Balli byway intersection when the accident took place.

Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, a westbound Chevrolet Traverse that had been traveling in the center lane of S.H. 100 abruptly attempted a left turn onto the byway in front of the motorcycle. This led to a collision between the front-end of the motorcycle and the back-left side of the Traverse.
Anderson incurred reportedly severe injuries as a result of the wreck; he was transported to a local medical facility by EMS in order to receive necessary treatment. No other injuries have been reported. Additional details pertaining to this incident are not available at this point in time. The investigation is currently ongoing.
