Grimes County, TX — March 8, 2024, Hailey Brissa and three others were injured in a car accident just after 4:00 p.m. along State Highway 6.
According to authorities, 21-year-old Hailey Brissa, a 21-year-old woman, a 3-year-old girl, and a 4-year-old girl were traveling in a southbound Kia Optima on State Highway 6 in the vicinity south of S.H. 90 when the accident occurred.
A Chevy Silverado was apparently southbound in the same lane behind the Kia. The Kia was slowing in preparation of making a right-hand turn onto a private drive when, officials indicate, it was rear-ended by the Silverado for unknown reasons.
All four occupants of the Kia incurred suspected severe injuries as a result of the wreck. They were all transported to local medical facilities by emergency medical services in order to receive necessary treatment. No other injuries have been reported.
