How Did This Accident Occur?

If it’s true that a vehicle failed to control speed and crashed into another person on the interstate, that’s usually the result of distraction or fatigue. It wouldn’t be unusual if that happened here, as well. That said, it’s important to rule out alcohol as well. That might not seem like something authorities would overlook, but investigations can be challenging rather quickly if, for example, a driver was unlawfully over-served by a bar who is also responsible for contributing to the accident. At the end of the day, it’s up to the evidence to say if and how this crash could have been avoided. Hopefully authorities are focusing on gathering evidence and not getting things done as quickly as possible.
