Commentary by Attorney Michael Grossman
Early on after a commercial vehicle accident, it’s important to know how well-equipped authorities are for the investigations. If their department doesn’t prioritize accident reconstruction, then they may not be up to the challenge of gathering and preserving all the evidence that can stem from a crash like this. That evidence is vital for the victims and families, and that’s why it’s often better for independent investigators to handle things. That way, there can be professional dedicated to securing evidence looking things over. Ultimately, folks need to be sure they’ll be able to tell their side of the story.
