How Did This Accident Occur?

Was the pedestrian trying to flag down help before this crash? Was the area well lit? Were any other driver able to avoid the pedestrian? These are the kind of questions that investigators should consider as they work to sort out how this crash happened.

Physical evidence, data from the vehicles and any available video footage could show what happened at the scene. Cell phone records and dashcam footage, if there is any, could provide a glimpse at what was going on before the crash. If a mechanical issue is thought to have contributed to this accident, an outside expert may be needed to conduct a forensic examination.

The pedestrian deserves to know how this crash happened, so a full investigation is vital.
