Dallas, TX — February 3, 2024, Francisco Jesus Flores was killed in a single-car accident at approximately 10:30 p.m. along Buckner Boulevard.
According to reports, 38-year-old Francisco Jesus Flores was traveling in a northbound Volkswagen Touareg SUV on Buckner Boulevard approaching the Moberly Lane intersection when the accident occurred.
Officials indicate that speed may have been a causal factor leading up to the crash. The SUV reportedly failed to safely negotiate a curve in the roadway. It apparently veered off of the right side of the road and entered a grassy median. There, it allegedly collided with a light pole, a sign, and a traffic signal light before becoming airborne. It came to rest on its wheels facing southwest in the northbound service lane for Buckner. Flores incurred fatal injuries as a result of the wreck and was declared deceased upon the arrival of emergency personnel.
