May, TX — October 22, 2024, Francisco Garza III was killed in a car accident while on a shoulder at around 7:32pm on Southbound US-183.
According to reports from officials, Francisco Garza III, 42, was on a paved shoulder of US 183 walking with a bicycle. Garza was then struck by a vehicle towing a trailer going southbound. It is reported that Garza was pronounced deceased at the scene by first responders.
Immediately following the collision, it is reported that the driver then pulled over on the shoulder.
It is unclear at this time if their are extenuating circumstances to the accident, however the investigation is still ongoing at this time.
