Commentary by Attorney Michael Grossman
While people will no doubt jump to all kinds of conclusions here, the fact of the matter is the evidence has the final say. As such, it’s important to make sure investigations are going beyond the surface and considering all possible factors—even if they’re unlikely. That means analyzing road conditions, pulling electronic data, inspecting the vehicle for defects, and other important steps to ensure the investigations tell the whole story. Even if something relatively predictable led to the crash, the victims and families affected need to have clear evidence in their hands to navigate the path ahead.
