Parker County, TX — September 17, 2025, Fernando Sanchez was injured as the result of a car accident at around 10:00 p.m. along Old Garner Road.
Initial details about the accident say that it happened northwest of Weatherford in the 3500 block of Old Garner Road.
Authorities said that 25-year-old Fernando Sanchez was in a Chevy Silverado with three passengers. They were going northeast at the time when the vehicle somehow lost control and crashed. Fernando Sanchez was reportedly seriously injured.

It’s obviously important for investigations to consider what led to an accident. What often goes overlooked, though, is possible factors that directly contribute to a victim’s injuries.
For example, with this accident, authorities say four people were in a pickup, but only one person was hurt—seriously so. Is there a normal explanation for that, or could it be the victim’s seatbelt or airbag malfunctioned?
Common or not, these are the kinds of questions a proper investigation would answer. Whether or not authorities did that kind of investigation here remains to be seen.
