Atascosa County, TX — June 28, 2024, Felix Ramirez was killed and several others were injured in a car accident at approximately 10:15 a.m. along I.H. 37.
According to authorities, 35-year-old Felix Ramirez and several other people were traveling in a motor vehicle on Interstate Highway 37 when the accident took place.
The cause of the accident remains unclear. Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, the vehicle failed to safely maintain its lane of travel. It reportedly swerved off of the roadway where it overturned, rolling an unknown number of times before coming to a stop.
Ramirez incurred reportedly fatal injuries as a result of the wreck and was declared deceased at the scene. Several people—reports are not specific as to how many—sustained injuries, as well, and had to be transported to local medical facilities by EMS in order to receive necessary treatment.
