Flagstaff, AZ — December 28, 2023, one person was killed as the result of a semi-truck accident that happened early Thursday along Interstate 40.
Details said to be from the Arizona Department of Public Safety have been reported indicating that the accident happened at around 1:00 a.m. just east of Flagstaff along the eastbound lanes of the interstate.
According to officials, a driver in a car was going along the interstate when it appears the vehicle crashed with a deer. An unspecified amount of time passed following that initial collision before a semi-truck crashed into the car.
As a result of the accident, the driver of the car sustained fatal injuries. That person has not been identified publicly. The truck driver may have been hurt. Right now, additional details about the crash are unavailable.
