1 Killed, Faith Warren, 1 Injured in Car Accident on F.M. 757 in Smith County, TX

Officials indicate that, for unknown reasons, a northbound Honda CR-V occupied by a 28-year-old man on F.M. 757 failed to stop at the stop sign, neglecting to yield the right of way to east and westbound traffic and entering the intersection at an apparently unsafe time. This resulted in a collision between the front end of the Charger and the passenger side of the Honda.

The sole occupant of the Honda was allegedly not wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident and incurred reportedly fatal injuries as a result of the wreck. Warren sustained suspected severe injuries and the man in the Charger suffered apparently minor injuries. They were both transported to local medical facilities by EMS in order to receive necessary treatment.
