Princeton, TX — November 18, 2025, a Fairview man was killed as the result of a car accident around 1:45 p.m. along County Road 398.
Authorities said that the crash took place just outside Harper Elementary School off County Road 398 and County Road 447.
According to officials, a 51-year-olf Fairview man was in a Tesla going along County Road 398. In events which are not clear, the vehicle lost control and crashed into multiple vehicles outside the school. Due to this, the Fairview man was killed.

It’s not exactly common to see a vehicle just lose control in the middle of the afternoon, and a crash involving a Tesla is not doubt going to raise some eyebrows.
I’ve had a lot of people in recent years ask me about these newer vehicles that boast having new technology and what kind of dangers that can pose. However, I’d say about this crash what I’d say about any deadly car accident: there needs to be an inspection of the vehicle for potential defects. Likely or not, vehicle defects can cause loss of control and lead to serious crashes. On top of that, issues with safety features like seatbelts or airbags can turn survivable crashes into deadly ones.
That’s why it’s important vehicles are secured early on and left alone until an experienced professional can inspect the wreckage for signs of a potential defect. Either that can rule out an important possibility, or it can bring to light a serious issue that could be putting others at risk. Either way, the victim’s loved ones can get some answers.
