Harris County, TX — June 12, 2024, Erica Rodriguez was injured following a car accident shortly after 5:00 p.m. along Preston Road.
According to authorities, 27-year-old Erica Rodriguez was traveling in a southbound Kia Forte on Preston Road at the San Augustine Avenue intersection when the accident took place.
Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, a southbound Honda HR-V attempted a left turn from Preston to San Augustine from the wrong lane, crashing into the Kia in the process. Rodriguez suffered reportedly serious injuries due to the wreck; she was transported to a local medical facility by EMS in order to receive necessary treatment. No other injuries have been reported.
