According to officials, 45-year-old Eric Berry was on a motorcycle traveling westbound on Pebble Hills. At a roundabout, authorities say that the motorcycle lost control and crashed off-road. This resulted in Eric Berry reportedly suffering fatal injuries.

One of the main concerns with motorcycle accidents is people often jump to conclusions. I know just like a lot of families of motorcyclists that most are responsible drivers. But when people have this negative bias, it can be easy to make assumptions before the evidence is clear.
That’s why it’s so important to know what steps authorities are taking to preserve evidence. They, too, can be susceptible to bias. So if they’re not taking time to look at the accident from all angles, they could easily leave investigations incomplete or come to false conclusions.
