Mahaska County, IA — August 8, 2026, Emily Turner was killed in an ATV accident at about 8 p.m. at an off-highway vehicle park near Oskaloosa.
Authorities said a woman was thrown from her ATV while riding on a track at Bluff Creek OHV Park, an abandoned coal mine converted for off-road use.
The rider, 26-year-old Jamesport, MO resident Emily Turner, died after being transported to an Oskaloosa hospital, according to authorities.
Authorities have not released any additional information about the Mahaska County crash at this time.
