Williamson County, TX — November 22, 2025, Elizabeth Walton and one other were injured after a car accident around 9:40 p.m. along FM 3349.

Investigators said that the crash took place at the intersection of FM 3349 and FM 1660, southeast of Hutto.

According to officials, 64-year-old Elizabeth Walton and another woman were in a Nissan Altima going eastbound through the intersection. A Ford F-150 was going southbound, and it reportedly failed to yield. It crashed with the Nissan as a result.

Due to the crash, Elizabeth Walton was seriously injured while the other person in the Nissan had moderate injuries. Authorities allege that the Ford driver possibly had been drinking. They recommended charges for DWI.

If it’s true that alcohol was a factor here, that may not make things as open-and-shut as people may think. When alcohol leads to an accident, it’s important to know where that alcohol came from. If someone was unlawfully over-served by an alcohol provider, that alcohol provider can be responsible for contributing to an accident resulting from that intoxication. Frankly, that’s not the sort of thing authorities typically look into on their own. Maybe authorities here have been more thorough.
