Harris County, TX — December 13, 2023, Eddie Araujo was injured in a truck accident at approximately 5:30 in the morning along U.S. 90.
According to reports, 19-year-old Eddie Araujo was traveling in an westbound Ford F-150 along U.S. 90 approximately a quarter of a mile west of the Bohemian Hall Road intersection when the accident took place.
Authorities indicate that the pickup truck was allegedly traveling at high rates of speed. An 18-wheeler had just made a right-hand turn out of a parking lot onto the right-most lane of westbound I.H. 90. For reasons which have yet to be confirmed, the front right of the pickup truck reportedly collided with the back left of the 18-wheeler. The collision caused the pickup to overturn, coming to rest on its roof in the left-hand lane of westbound I.H. 10.
Araujo reportedly sustained suspected severe injuries as a result of the wreck; he was transported to a local medical facility by emergency medical services in order to receive immediate treatment. There were no other injuries reported.
