Rostraver Township, PA — March 18, 2024, one person was injured in a dump truck accident at approximately 6:50 a.m. along Fellsburg Road.
According to authorities, the accident occurred at the intersection of Fellsburg Road and State Route 51.
The causal factors that led to the crash are still unclear. Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, a passenger vehicle was involved in a collision with a dump truck. One victim was reportedly entrapped in the wreckage and had to be extricated upon the arrival emergency personnel. They had incurred injuries of unknown severity and had to be transported to and area airport by EMS in order to be flown to a regional medical center to receive necessary treatment. No other injuries have been reported.
