Farragut, TN — March 25, 2024, one person was killed and another was injured following a dump truck accident that occurred along Kingston Pike.
According to authorities, the accident took place in the vicinity of the Kingston Pike and Amesbury Road intersection.

The causal factors that led to the accident are still unclear. Officials indicate that, for unknown reasons, the dump truck failed to safely maintain its lane of travel. It apparently crossed over several lanes of traffic on Kingston Pike before leaving the roadway. It then barreled over Amesbury Road, as well, where it struck an Infiniti G37.
The victim who was behind the wheel of the Infiniti reportedly incurred fatal injuries as a result of the wreck and was declared deceased at the scene. The victim from the dump truck sustained injuries of unknown severity, as well. No other injuries have been reported.
