How Did This Accident Occur?

Initial reports contend this crash happened because the SUV ran a stop sign, but authorities still need to complete a full investigation to get to the truth of what happened at this intersection.

Authorities will work to reconstruct this accident by poring over vehicle data, physical evidence, witness statements and available video footage, while cell phone records could show what each driver was doing at the time.

If investigators think a mechanical issue contributed to this crash, a qualified expert should examine these vehicles before they are scrapped or repaired.

This probe should answer any lingering questions the SUV driver’s family has about this accident, or they may opt to seek a second look at the evidence from an independent investigator.
