Hidalgo County, TX — March 16, 2026, Diego Turrubiartes was injured in a single-vehicle accident at about 2:10 a.m. on San Jose Road/F.M. 510.
A preliminary accident report indicates that a 2009 Toyota Tacoma was heading west near Green Valley Farms when it left the road and crashed into a mailbox.
Driver Diego Turrubiartes, 22, was seriously injured in the crash east of San Benito, according to the report.
