How Did This Accident Occur?

It’s natural to read about a crash like this and assume the truck driver did something wrong by driving off the road, but my experience tells me there could be more to this story. Tanker trucks present unique challenges for drivers because their liquid cargo can shift weight in unexpected ways if they are partially full.

Investigators should look at this crash carefully to determine if the tanker’s load was properly baffled, while also considering road conditions and any potential mechanical issues that could have affected the truck’s performance.
