Wharton County, TX — September 28, 2024, Devon Johnson was injured following a car accident around 4:00 A.M. on County Road 164.
An investigation is underway following a car accident that happened during the early morning hours on September 28th. According to official reports, Devon Johnson was travelling north on CR 164 when a unknown vehicle with apparently bright overhead lights, crossed into the oncoming lane enough to side-swipe Johnson’s vehicle. This resulted in an accident that caused severe damage Johnson’s vehicle.
When the first responders arrived on the scene, they found that Johnson had sustained serious injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. At this time, there has been no other information released, including the status of Johnson’s injuries, as well as if any charges or citation will be filed.
