Beaumont, TX — March 9, 2024, Devin Moore and Shanice Richards were killed in a motorcycle accident at approximately 7:30 p.m. along South 4th Street.
According to authorities, 26-year-old Devin Moore and 28-year-old Shanice Richards were traveling on a northbound motorcycle on South 4th Street in the vicinity between Crockett Street and Fannin Street.
The causal factors that led to the accident are still unclear. Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, the motorcycle lost control and collided with a curb before crashing into a fence. Both occupants were ejected from the motorcycle during the course of the accident. Both Moore and Richards incurred apparently fatal injuries as a result of the accident and were declared deceased at the scene.
